B Family Christmas Gathering

Almost through with the holiday-themed posts ;) Next up is our "Day after Christmas" gathering with Joe's side of the family! We hosted this year, which was so nice in the new house. Nothing makes a house feel more like home than hosting gatherings and making memories.

Having company makes this handsome guy very happy too. Plus he got to wear his Christmas shirt another day ;)

All the grandkids (and grand pup!) together. Poor Emmy just woke up from a nap and was cranky.

Christmas hats and Abu makes everything better. No more tears!

Mia joins back in with her hat. It is the cutest thing to see Mattie and Nolan holding hands :)

We had everyone over after lunch, so we opened presents first while dinner was cooking. For dinner I made a baked ham, lasagna (grandma's sauce with sausage!), and roasted veggies. I love having 2 ovens when entertaining!

Time to start opening presents. Uncle Timmy and Mia played Santa this year and handed out the gifts.

Emmy and her doggie back pack from Aunt Jessica
Nolan with his motorcycle building kit!

Everyone got Duplos from the Abuelos! Nolan's was Miles from tomorrow land themed :)

Emmy had present opening down by then!

Books are always a hit.

Even Dean was excited about his gift! <3

Emmy found her Duplos! Garden themed.

Nolan got a sling shot kit from (troublemaker) Uncle Luis. This should be entertaining for outdoors in springtime ;)

More Miles gifts! He was so excited about this remote control spaceship. Ever since we gave Mattie a remote controlled Miles-themed gift for her birthday he suddenly wanted one too ;)

Emmy still loving her cash register from Christmas!

Everyone having fun!

Mattie's turn

Gift of the night! Timmy continues his beer-themed tshirts from Joe's parents!
As always, I'm thankful to have family so close by for these traditions. I love seeing the cousins play together, and I always enjoy the family time. Glad to be able to host again too!
