Happy Birthday, Dean!!!

Dean celebrated his THIRD birthday last weekend - March 2nd. It is now a tradition to get Dean a "gourmet" Doggy cookie for him to enjoy on his birthday.

 I was kind of bummed we couldn't continue the "beer mug" cookie tradition (this is what happens when his birthday is so close to St. Patty's Day). But the store didn't have them available this year :(. So we went with the funniest alternative choice: the Hot Dog.

Dean had a fun day going to his favorite place in the world - the dog park. Luckily, we live 5 minutes away from a really great fenced dog park so we try to take Dean as often as possible. This is a big upgrade from our 30-40min drive to a dogpark in NC. With that and our fenced in back yard and gated deck for Dean to enjoy, he gives our PA house a big "paws up"!

Dean is such an amazing big brother, and although he is very "needy" (for cuddles/attention), he has dealt so well with the addition to our family this year. We couldn't imagine our family without him - he provides immense joy to us every day. Happy Birthday Dean - here's to many more :)
