Fourth of July

We had a fun Fourth of July! We had Kevin, Virginia, and Cylar over for a cookout and enjoyed the mild weather pushing our kids together on the swings in our backyard then hanging out on the deck taking in the neighborhood fireworks after the kids went to bed. It's crazy how much has changed since we were in graduate school! Cylar and Nolan played amazingly well together - it made me realize how much easier it is to watch Nolan when he has an older kid running around entertaining him :) They were even "talking" to each other during dinner with Cylar mimicking Nolan's "babababa" noises!

We had to re-create last year's photo since we also hung out during the 4th of July at our place. Unfortunately, the light wasn't as good because it was later in the day and we had to use the self timer, but it's amazing to see how much the kiddos have grown in one year!
