I'm off work for 2 weeks for the holidays, so hoping to do a lot of blog catch up! Here are some photos from mid-November when our big red maple tree in the front yard finally dropped all of its leaves. We had been prepping Nolan for some leaf jumping for awhile so he didn't hesitate much this year to get right in. Although his favorite part was probably raking with Daddy at the end :)

Jumping with Daddy!
As much as we encouraged him to jump in, his favorite activity was definitely kicking the leaves! We think he has a future as a football punter ;)
| Kick! |
| So fun! |
| Daddy getting into it too. |
| Nice form! |
| Power kicker! |
| He could happily do this for hours. |
Mommy jumped in too with some leaf throwing :)
| Love his face reactions! |
| So many leaves! |
| Daddy really went for it! |
All the leaf throwing/kicking meant it was time to rake again. Luckily Joe had an excellent helper this time around. Next year we'll need to get a kid sized one and put him to work!
| Ready to do it himself! |
| Mommy's turn to help! |
| I adore him. |
| "I did it!" |
| Time to play with the pumpkins instead! |
And my favorite thing to do... look back at this tradition (and cute sweaters) over the years:
