It's Emilia's last photoshoot! It was a bit emotional being done with what will probably be our last baby photos, but I'm so thankful to have two healthy and happy kids. Hard to be believe she is almost 14 months now, but want to make sure I capture this special milestone!

| Nolan (L), Emilia (R). Wow, look how much more Nolan was drooling at this age! He had a ton more teeth than Emmy at 12 months! |

| Looks like the photoshoot is over! |
Nolan crashed the party and grabbed some puzzles for them to play with together so I kept on snapping - can't get enough of the two of them together.
 |
| I also can't get enough of taking photos of the back of her head. The bald patch still hasn't filled in. |
 |
| Emmy shares her brother's love of puzzles. |

12 Month Snapshot:
- Sleep: We felt like we finally turned a corner as we were getting a few weeks in a row of very few wake-ups. After 12 months, we have had a bit of a regression of not only wake-ups, but being wide awake and taking several hours to be put back down (not fun!) We do think we've seen the light at the end of the tunnel, now that we're almost 14 mo. Hoping she follows Nolan's progress around this time of starting to "sleep in" late when allowed. She currently wakes up after Nolan most mornings - around 7/7:30am. She has finally started taking better naps (1-2hrs straight) both at home and Daycare.
- Walking: At 12 months, Emmy was still just walking with support (holding her hands) and able to stand by herself while holding onto furniture. She was doing very little cruising or pulling up, but the Dr was not too concerned as long as she is showing progress. Now, nearly 2 months later, she's taking steps all by herself between Joe and I, or the furniture. Cruising very well and pulling up all by herself. She's definitely angry at not being able to walk and keep up with her classmates/Nolan - you can really see the determination in her eyes! I don't think it will be long now.
- Talking: Emmy has been picking up words like crazy. She definitely understands a ton, and she is adding new words/sounds all the time! I'm trying to keep the paci out of her mouth because she spends her time with it "mumbling" while talking since everything is muffled! She says a very clear "mama", "dada", "uh oh", "hi", and sounds that sound very much like "dee dee" and "Nolan". She loves picking up my cell phone, holding it to her ear, and saying "hello" and "hi" :)
- Teeth: Still 4! Two on the bottom, two on the top. Nolan had a ton by now - so funny how each kid is so different.
- Favorites: Clapping, Slapping high fives, "How big is Emmy?" "So big!" with her hands up, waving hi and bye and night nights, peekaboo, walking while having her hands held, pressing buttons, opening and closing things, fitting things inside other things, knocking down/grabbing anything Nolan is playing with, MOMMY all day everyday, shouting LOUDLY, pointing, laughing when everyone else laughs, petting Dean, dancing to music.
- 12 month appointment:
- Height 2'5'' (33%)
- Weight: 19lbs, 13oz (51%)
- Head: 46.4cm (86%)
Happy Birthday, Big Girl! We love you so much!
