Adventure Aquarium!

It has been a long time since we've visited the Adventure Aquarium in Camden. Last time we went, Nolan was about Emmy's age!

Nolan obviously was much more into it this time, and Emmy was fascinated as well!

So many fishies!

So cool to see the scuba divers in the huge tank!

I spy a sting ray!

Emmy must do everything big brother does.

this kid is a genius! ;)

What a team! Love the matching shoes

They have a great children's area upstairs with interactive exhibits and child-friendly viewing areas.
Captain Emmy!

I love watching them together

I think Nolan's favorite thing in the children's area was the little windows you can climb under and "pop" into the fish tank! He popped up and down a million times laughing!

Hi mom!

Emmy crawling under the tank too!

Turtle Nolan!

Both kids wore "under the sea" themed shirts!

Shark tunnel!

Jaws up close in the tunnel! Ahhhhh!

Emmy is a yummy treat!

She's loving it!
A new exhibit they had this time around was the Shark Bridge! It's a narrow netting that lets you walk over the shark tank. Nolan was so excited for this!

Looking down into the shark tank

The bridge was made of only rope and wobbly! Single file only and no carrying kids allowed. Joe stayed back with Emmy since she wouldn't be able to walk it. Nolan did great!

Reunited with his sister post-bridge!

They love each other!

Ugga Mugga!
Another great part about the aquarium is being right on the Camden Waterfront, which means great views of the Philly skyline and the Ben Franklin Bridge.

Nolan wasn't really feeling pictures anymore after a long day exploring inside, but we did our best with some pics!

Quite the change from September 2013!

We beat the crowds getting to the aqarium right at opening (we are getting this parenting thing down as we go!) which means it was lunchtime when we left. We decided to hop over to nearby Collingswood and try the Pop Shop. It was a super cute kidfriendly diner that has been featured on the Food Network. Everyone got what they wanted, and the kids even got cute hats ;) Successful day in the books! Hopefully it won't take 3 more years for our return this time!
