Emilia's Newborn Photoshoot

We worked with Laurie Carrozzino again (she did our maternity family photos back in November) to capture our early days at home with Emilia. These were taken on February 15th, 2015 - Emilia is just 12 days old. We couldn't be happier with the way the photos came out. Unlike the stressful feeling of last photoshoot (Nolan was so hard to contain/get in photos outside!), we just interacted more casually at home, and eventually Nolan came around and wanted to be in more photos. I'm so glad we found Laurie, who is only in her first year of work as a part-time professional photographer, but so talented and really wonderful to work with. We're happy to help build her portfolio, and hope to be able to work with her again!

We only did a few formal photos of baby alone in the basket (I wanted the focus of the photoshoot to be family shots). This is my favorite of those.

Right when Laurie was "leaving" Nolan decided to let his guard down and interact a lot more. Good thing she packs away her camera at the very last moment!
