One of my favorite trips of the year is the annual trip to the pumpkin patch! The past 3 years (
2014,
2013,
2012) we went to Linvilla Orchards in Media for this, but
last year I vowed to try somewhere else due to crowds/lack of an actual pumpkin patch! We took advantage of a weekend we were in Newtown checking out rentals (we found a townhome to rent!) to try a new place in our new 'hood.
This year we went to Shady Brook Farm in Yardley, and loved it! It was fun to take a hay ride to an actual pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins. The only thing we wished we had was gardening gloves because we didn't realize how spiky the vines can be!
Here's some pictures from our day! It was a warm and gorgeous fall weekend, and very sunny!

Our new 'hood is looking up! Everytime I visit I love it more and more. Excited to explore in a few short weeks!
