Nursery Furniture!

After much research and store visits, we finally chose our nursery furniture today. We are really excited to have this big decision out of the way and can't wait to get Baby B's room set up!

We are happy we could support a local store - Baby SuperMart in Broomall, PA. It was actually only one of 20 "non-bigbox" chain stores in the US that was highly recommended by the Baby Bargains book and just happened to be in our hometown! What sealed the deal for us was the fact that they had a very reasonable delivery charge (much less than Babys R Us) and the deliverymen actually set up the crib for you! We've heard putting together cribs are a big pain, so that was a big bonus. They were also offering 20% off when you buy more than one item, which is a nice bonus and made the buy very comparable if not cheaper than buying from Babys R Us.

Here's what we picked!

Crib and Dresser: Pali Salerno crib and dresser in White (low dresser only and will be used as a changing table on top)

Mattress: Moonlight Slumber Little Dreamer

The baby bargains book is big on foam mattresses being the best for baby (plus they are cheaper than coil mattresses!) and this particular one was one of their top picks. Bonus that there is dual firmness for when the baby gets older.

Glider: Best Chair Storytime series Blain chair in Chocolate Microfiber

This chair is incredibly comfortable, glides smoothly, and reclines to almost full horizontal position! I can see some nights being spent in this chair in the near future after feedings...

I'm excited to see the room come together! I think the white furniture and dark chocolate chair will really pop off the grey/blue walls. Unfortunately, the items will take about 6wks until delivery, but hopefully that still gives us over a month before Baby B arrives to add finishing touches. Hurry up, March! :)
