One Year Photoshoot

We were lucky enough to book Allie Beckley Photography again to shoot our family for Nolan's one year birthday. Allie is an Emily C. Specchio Foundation Scholarship alum, and it is so special to have such a personal connection with a photographer. She did an amazing job yet again, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

Allie came by the day after Nolan's first birthday party, which in retrospect was probably too hectic for me to handle/plan everything, but thankfully (and probably due to her talent) you can't tell from the photos :) We started the day off at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA - a really gorgeous spot, but unfortunately it was pretty chilly so we didn't stay long. We missed the warm weather by a week!

After the cold sent us packing sooner than we expected, we headed back home where we could warm up and get some more photos. It was fun recreating some of the photos from last year.

The last thing we had scheduled was a cake smash! I baked the cake myself (funfetti with vanilla icing and sprinkles!) We were unsure what to expect based on his mixed reactions so far, but it was a fun time!
