We followed the same tradition we started last year for Halloween by trick or treating with friends in Yardley. We met up after school, had some pizza, got the kids dressed in their costumes, took (few) pictures, and headed out to hit up the neighborhood! Nolan did NOT want to stop, but we tried to pull away early to ensure we hit up our neighbors houses in our own neighborhood too. This was a lot to balance in one night so I'm hoping by next year that we will have met more kids in our neighborhood at the bus stop (I can't believe Nolan will be in 1st grade next year!) so we can keep everything more simplified!

| The crew pre-trick or treating! Jaiden as batman, Marcus as Lloyd, Nolan as Cole, Emmy as Zane, Mason as Captain America, Shane as a dinosaur, Hazel as a Princess, and Violette as Everest (Paw Patrol). |

Mason/Violette/Hazel/Marcus's neighborhood is so great for trick or treating. The houses are close enough together to hit a lot in a short amount of time and there are SO MANY KIDS (I believe this neighborhood fills their own bus for school). The houses are ready with lots of candy!
The kids had a blast and didn't want to stop. Emmy was scared of some of the scary decorations people had out, but Nolan seemed to have gotten past this fear at this age. We managed to still make it home to hit about 5 houses right near ours before lights out. Current favorites for candy this year - Nolan = Reese's Cups (like mama!) and Emmy = m&m's and lollipops.
