I don't think we ever painted or carved our pumpkins last year, so we were due for some pumpkin fun this year! We went for the (slightly) less messy route and painted pumpkins this year. I bought some washable glitter paint, covered the kitchen table, and let the kids go to town! It was fun, and Nolan still got to carve pumpkins in school so the full experience was had!

| Mine is the striped, Emmy's is the very blue one, Nolan did rings of color, and Daddy did the drunk pumpkin! haha |

They looked very pretty on our front porch and since they weren't carved lasted through Thanksgiving!
After Halloween was over, we fit in one last themed outing - checking out "Canal-o-ween" in Yardley. It was adorable - there were hundreds of carved and lit pumpkins lining the canal towpath.

This was the last night before the pumpkins were cleaned up and with the unseasonably warm temps this fall, some were a bit melted! We'll have to remember to go earlier in the season next year (or even take part in the mass carving event to add our own to the group!)
