Instead of the standard halloween parade that the daycare had done in previous years, this year they tried a "Trunk or Treat" in the parking lot instead. After a few calls for volunteers went out, I stepped up for the challenge even though I'd never participated or seen a Trunk or Treat before :) It ended up really cute and the kids had a blast!

Since both kids were Ninjas this year, our choice was obvious - we had to do a Lego Ninjago car! After consulting with Pinterest, I cut up a bunch of cardboard boxes, covered them with plastic tableclothes of different colors and taped paper plates on top. I made a few "Ninjago eyes" to hang from paper lanterns and threw some streamers on top and called it a day. The kids loved it!
