SIX months!

Happy Half-Birthday to my little boy! Time is definitely flying, but we love how much more fun and interactive Nolan is getting by the day.

Theme of the photoshoot? "I love my feet".

Six Month Cutie!

Showing off his two bottom teeth and feet in the air!

What a difference 6 months make!

Getting more and more interactive!

Look how much bigger I am than the monkey!

So fun!

Nolan did well during his 6 month checkup. He's still on the peanut growth track, weighing 15lbs 5oz, putting him in the 13th%. He is long though - 26inches, putting him in the 40th%. His head circumference is in the 56th%. He is meeting all his milestones (rolling over, babbling, bringing his hands together, sitting with assistance, etc). Next up is sitting by himself and crawling. We were told to start the babyproofing now! The only bad part about his check-up was that he had a double ear infection, and we had no clue! I felt bad about not suspecting, but he really hasn't shown too many symptoms except waking up more at night, but he also was teething. Being a parent is confusing sometimes, especially when the little guy can't tell us anything! He was a trooper during his 4 shots, and stopped crying as soon as he was comforted by mommy.

Hmm I wonder who I look like?? ;)

Brotherly Love.
Lots going on this month. Poor guy has been experiencing lots of new tastes between new solids every 3-4 days (hates it), medicine for his ear infection (hates it), and us starting to supplement with formula since our frozen stock is almost done (loves it). The plan is to give as much breast milk as possible, but he'll prob end up with 1-2 bottles of formula each day. We haven't noticed a change in sleep since we started giving a bottle at night (so many people swear it makes them sleep better), but the doctor was pretty strict about cutting out night wakeups/feedings, so we'll see what happens.

We are truly enjoying every day spent with this little guy. He lights up our lives in ways we never thought possible. There is so much love in this house. More updates to come with the bi-weekly post.
