Christmas Eve 2014

This year we celebrated Christmas Eve at Jessica and Tim's new house in South Jersey. We had a great time! Mattie and Nolan are really enjoying playing with each other lately and both share a love of trains and Thomas :)

Nolan kept running around the track and jumping in the air. He was one happy kiddo!

Loving Mattie's trackmaster set with self-propelling trains

Love seeing these cousins growing up together!

Lots and LOTS of presents to open on Christmas Eve!

Nolan and Mattie took turns playing "Santa", which consists of picking out a present and delivering it to the appropriate recipient. They loved it (and of course looked adorable in their Santa hats!)

One of these kids likes to smile at the camera... unfortunately it isn't mine.
Daddy getting into the Christmas spirit too!

Love my boys in plaid!
Nolan was happy to help everyone unwrap their presents too! He was Abuelita's special "unwrapper" helper :)

A photo of Nolan and Santa!
Another photo score for Abuelita - a portrait of Mattie. Love Nolan's face :)

Mattie gladly helping little sister Mia open her presents

Assisting Uncle Luis open his present too!

All 3 cousins checking out Mia's new shopping cart. Crazy to think next year there will be 4 cousins :)

Sisters and their Daddy

Intense stare while waiting for his turn to be Santa again. Love this kid!

Mia and her new xylophone

Such a typical Nolan move! Keeping it interesting :)
It was nice to keep our tradition from last year of having Christmas Eve with Joe's family (we hope to rotate it between our house and Jessica's moving forward). The best part is we still get to sleep at our house and wake up on Christmas morning to have those special memories at home. More posts from Christmas morning and our Christmas in New Jersey coming up next!
