Due to Easter/Scheduling conflicts, we celebrated Nolan's birthday several MANY times. Since we were headed to NJ for Easter two days after his actual birthday, we decided to celebrate his birthday with our NJ family/friends the day before Easter so that everyone didn't have to trek out to PA the next weekend for his party. There were no complaints from Nolan with the extra celebrations ;)
A cool gift he got from his Aunt Mary Beth is a puppet theater! It is attached to a tension rod that can be put in any doorway and came with a few puppets. Nolan loved the impromptu show put on during his party!

Nolan had a lot of fun opening his gifts and spent most of his party playing with his new wood blocks set and USA puzzle! He loved playing with two of my best friends, Lauren P and Lauren V. It's amazing to watch him gravitate towards his "Aunties" and develop a close relationship.

This was a lot of people's first time meeting baby Emilia as well! She put on her best behavior and slept for most of the party ;)

And if you thought one celebration extra was enough for our spoiled kiddo, you were mistaken, because we had yet ANOTHER "party before the party" with Nolan's abuelos the following Saturday. They couldn't make the planned party on Sunday, so they came over to celebrate our 3 year old with more presents and cupcakes! What a lucky kid!
One of Nolan's gifts was a four pack of new puzzles, which was a huge hit. This kid loves puzzles and is so good at doing them! He spent a good time of the visit on the floor with Abu doing puzzles together!
Joe took advantage of the "free time" to have a nice cuddle session with Emmy that I loved to capture :)
Abuelita also made sure to get lots of Emmy time in too!
And more sugar treats for Nolan! The Oreo cupcakes were certainly delicious, and this kid loves a good "Happy Birthday" singing with candles :)

We are so lucky to have such amazing family and friends close enough to celebrate with every year! Thank you all for making Nolan's pre-birthday party celebrations so fun! Next up is Nolan's party at our house!
